Welcoming New Site Manager

Dear friends,

Please join us in welcoming John van Leeuwen as the new Site Manager for Circle Square Ranch Wolf Creek. In these uncertain times, John comes to us as a wonderful answer to prayer. Not only are his roots in Saskatchewan but he has a great love for camp ministry. John brings a wealth of knowledge and experience and will provide leadership and stability for Wolf Creek in these difficult times.

Most recently, John and his wife, Julia have been living and working in Winnipeg where John has been on staff with a Christian school for refugee children. He has a wide and varied background including operational and development management for nonprofits, farm management and camp ministry. He spent several years on staff at Camp Kadesh on Lake Christopher.

John is excited to take on this new role for two reasons. First, he loves seeing children and youth come to Christ through camp. Second, the role of site manager allows John to put his maintenance skills to work and keep the Ranch in good shape for when we can fully host rental groups and hold summer camp in the future.

John will work alongside InterVarsity Saskatchewan Director Rachelle Low to develop a strong strategy for the ranch for years to come.

We are so thankful for John and Julia, and for their passion for this new chapter in their lives and in the life of the ranch. Please feel free to connect with John at the ranch or via email at [email protected]

Please keep Wolf Creek and InterVarsity’s eight other camps across Canada in your prayers. In these uncertain days, we are trusting God’s provision and guidance. We want the ranch to be a place for children, youth and adults to come and meet God for many years to come.
